If all else fails
Please cruise down the page for the latest, I will have this reversed soon.
8/10/06 Glad the British kicked some ass and took names. Sounds like big plans were in the works. The assholes keep coming. I know some in this country were concerned about the gov invading our privacy but if it stops this stuff, I say go for it. Whatever it takes. I know some of my friends say "would you want your son in Iraq", no, not unless he wanted to, and I would still be scared shitless, worried sick. Would not want him on one of those planes either. What about those missing Arab students? Rings of hanky-panky to me. How can you tell the good ones from the ones who want to kill us all?

Great Time article about life in Baghdad.

The renowned scientist, Stephen Hawking stated recently he doubts the human race can survive another 100 years without space colonization. Through global warming, nuclear
proliferation, extremists activity or a genetically engineered virus, things are not looking good. Maybe there is such a thing as "the good old days"

Now, these boys can play.

And watch Georgie W rock.

8/14/06 Wow, listening to the Little Dot 2 Plus headphone amp(4 tubes) from China. If you listen to music thru your computer the Little Dot kicks ass. I have a 24 bit sound card coming out of the puter then on to the Little Dot and Sony headphones. Great bargain for around $150.Interested, I'll hook you up.

8/17/06 The Noble prepares to go over to the Dark Side. Pissed off about a bunch of stuff, mostly how  companies nickel and dime us and when we complain they put us thru hell to prove it, paperwork, etc. Banks are the worst. My lease on one of my cars is about to end and I have not decided whether to turn it in or pay up and sell for a profit. The bitch from Wells Fargo acts like she's a collection agent going after some derelict. I'll probably buy the car and let her know the bitch she is. Ballwalker I say.

That dude, what a chicken neck wimp, who confessed to the Ramsey killing, ain't the killer in my view. Just desperate. Some pathetic POS in my thinking. Maybe he should just be pounded on for the hell of it. Sad, the state of man. Good luck X Gen or any other new Gen. For some reason I'm glad to be at this stage in life. Maybe I got 10, maybe 20, I doubt. Short term negative, long term ?

Great list of the most popular blog-type sites

Screw those banks, right Nob? Listening to some tunes via The Little Dot.

Oh my God, what's this? Noble's  Italian made 28 gauge, the Franchi 28. Will join that shooting club in Chicago down at North Avenue when I get there. Popping'em off over the lake. It feels good. Browning 22 LR under the bed. I think I see a tall bearded figure in a robe, Koran in hand, I here thru my hightech hearing device someone say Osama, trigger pulled, take that asshole.

8/18/06 What's up with Maurice Clarrett, the once highly touted Ohio State running back.
Pulled over in LA, loaded handguns, shotguns, bullet proof vest, big-ass knife. Ready for a confrontation I would surmise. What a loser, every decision that guy has made was the wrong one. Now running from the Mafia. Poster boy for screwing it up bigtime.

Speaking of The Little Dot, I will either play a CD or use my ITune downloads on the computer.
That goes into a 24 bit external sound card then to the Little Dot headphone amp then to my Sony headphones. Sounds great.

8/19/06 Got to check this out, Dennis Leary's Mel Gibson rant

Just in case your life falls apart study this

The Boys taking a laydown
8/22/06 Boulder may be sick of it, but I'm intrigued. Sex change operation inquires, in love with a six year old, I was there but it was an accident. I want more, sorry. The mentally disturbed are always of interest. Is this guy "king of sick" or do we just want to beat him silly?

8/23 Noble roast the green chiles. Yes my humble flock, the season is upon us. New Mexico's big event- Chili Roasting Time, is happening. The smell is all over town and it's good. This is one of the things I really like about New Mexico. Got one of the last burlap bags of green chiles available at Albertsons, hand picked by illegal immigrants. They go great with a lot of stuff. On a cheeseburger, on a BLT, on a quesadilla, in your eggs, etc. A couple of pics of the Noble roasting. Eat your heart out Chris Wahlberg, Cotton Stevenson and Ed Zahra.

I know we're jaded but never forget how to be at your charming best
On the grill at the 5 minute mark.
Grilled, but awaiting to be skinned.
8/24 Pluto bites the dust. All those science books to be re-written. The Noble's birthday is on Monday the 28th. Bottles of assorted beverages will be accepted.
Pretty depressing. Only positive,  I'm still alive!

I just posted on Anderson Cooper's blog about the Ramsey case. I read a review of the previous suspects there. Really amazing. So many with connections that were suspicious. A real circus of characters. According to the report all were cleared. No wonder the police thought it was an inside job. The parents are upstairs sleeping on Christmas night and their daughter is in the
basement being tortured, raped and killed. Way too much vodka I suppose.
Hopefully we will see how this turns out. Word to the wise: do not prance your daughter around like she's an adult, competing in beauty contests, wearing make-up etc. There are bad people out there watching.

8/25 Kathy's relations over for dinner, Baby Back ribs, green chili cheese grits casserole, well cooked green beans with cucumber, vinegar and onions as a topping, sliced Florida tomatoes. Much beverage. Ah, good. Now I'm appreciating probably the best country artist ever. Listening on the Little Dot.
Waylon Jennings. "Waymore Blues" starts it out. None better.

8/27 Great jazz broadcast from Radio Netherlands starting around 6:30 PM
Sunday(Mtn. Time). Just check live broadcast. Unique. Enjoy, it's worth it.  Go.

Just saw World Trade Center, directed by Oliver Stone. Basically a true story about two Port Authority cops being trapped and then rescued. Obviously a great tragedy and joy of their rescue. I really did not feel the emotion I thought I would. Not sure why. Maybe the set-up was so well known and outcome predictable. I was a little underwhelmed. The real deal is still pretty horrifying. Maybe it's hard to portray this tragedy in America.
8/28 The birthday boy sporting the birthday boller
8/30 Iran the superpower, should have seen that one coming. Make Iraq a dead duck and they will step up. At this point their  foe, a Sunni Iraq, is a dead duck. They wheel their power. If you take out Iraq you have to face off with Iran. That's the true outcome. You turn Iraq over to Iran. Really fucked up. If you cannot win Iraq, then you gambled and lost. Typical. We are idealistic to a fault.

9/3 Got a kick out of the article on Ken Lay this morning. Apparently some court in Texas ruled some years back, when a person dies if he is still trying for an appeal, although previously found guilty, he is considered an innocent man. Done deal. Wow!
A real head shaker ain't it. Pretty damn convenient that death. Ken Lay, goes down as an innocent man, and the really big one, since he's innocent that estate is safe, can not be touched. Know that's pretty damn good news for his family and a real shaft to Enron workers. Do I smell something fishy? Was that heart attack forced? When you're facing prison at his age and the possibility of dying in there, loss of your fortune and going down legally as a guilty fuck, sounds like a bullet most would take. Only caveat,
had he been granted an appeal? We know he was going to appeal. Amazing.

9/6 Noble's rack may get a contract tomorrow. We will see. Could be chowing down on some Chicago turkey if things work out. Would like to get there before the snow flies. I moved from NYC to Chicago in late December 1982, 72 degrees. One never knows. In addition to the moving shit, the Noble has to go into re-psych mode. Attitude and energy pump. Spin the positive, walk the walk, talk the talk. Create some buzz. Try to find a fricking gig. Fargo strut down Michigan Ave.

Several thumbs up for "Little Miss Sunshine", Gilbert Grape, Sideways  like. See it.( I think I will start my own rating system based on Fargos)  A solid 3.5 Fargos for Little Miss Sunshine.

9/14 Yes, the Nob's still here. Now that the house is under contract, yours truly is scurrying about getting things ready for the inspection. Will be in Chicago 9/23-9/29 looking for digs. Locking myself in a closet each day for 90 minutes with "Free Bird" turned up to max. Getting the mind right. The edge back on. Another month and I'll be ready.

Is Prince Charles bi-sexual?

9/19 I've been a little busy with the house sale, buyer's inspection
this Monday. The Nob running around crazy-like repairing and sprucing up shit. I get the report tomorrow. Off to Chicago on Saturday for a week, looking for digs. Sorry for being somewhat inactive lately but hope you understand. When the move is a done deal the Nob will fire back up with a vengeance. Stay tuned.

9/29 Back from Chicago. The hunt for digs completed. It must have been an omen when one of the places we were to see was on Fargo Street. Doing the Fargo Strut on Fargo Street. Well, it was and the deal was done. As close to Malibu as you can get in Chicago. Granted, only 3-4 months of beach weather, but the view will be nice year-round. I understand from others who live there, ice skating can be had if the lake freezes over near the shore. I can visualize those future lawn and beach parties.
The view from Nob's kitchen. That's Lake Michigan,
150 feet away.
Down at beach level, looking East.
10/2 What a fricking joke. Rep. Mark Foley checks himself into an alcoholic rehab. Did not know they treated perverts and closet homos there. As if alcohol made him do it. He's on a sexual predator panel in Congress. Bizarre is what it is.
Hot poker up butt for him. Maybe I'm going with Ted Turner, men are just fucking up the world. Women step up, just not Hillary.
Update: my house sale fell thru, so these digs are history
